The BEST Homemade Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1½ tsp. baking powder

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1-2 Tbsp. butter, melted

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp. fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and Greek yogurt until a sticky dough forms. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth (add more flour if necessary, but be careful not to add too much, or the naan will become dry). Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each one into a flat oval shape.

2. Heat a dry skillet (preferably a cast iron skillet) over medium heat. Place one piece of rolled-out dough into the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Repeat with the remaining dough.

3. In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush the warm garlic butter over the freshly cooked naan. Enjoy!
