Makes 8-10 biscuits. Serve with butter & jam, honey, or by itself!

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 Tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoon butter, frozen then shredded
3/4 cup milk
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
1. Put 6 Tablespoons of butter in freezer for 10-20 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
4. Remove frozen butter from freezer and shred with a box cheese grater. Add the shredded butter to the bowl and mix into the dry ingredients using your hand or a fork.
5. Pour the milk into the bowl and stir until just combined.
6. Press and flatten the dough, then fold in half. Repeat 6 times.
7. Transfer dough to a floured surface and press the dough into a 1-inch thick circle.

8. Using a biscuit cutter (mine measures 2-3/4 inches) or a drinking glass, cut out the biscuits. Once you've cut out as many biscuits as you can, gather the
scraps and press the dough to a 1-inch thickness a second time to cut the remaining biscuits. (You should get about 8-10 biscuits).
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter. Serve with butter & jam, honey, or by itself. Store leftovers in a plastic food container.
