Makes 9 bars

Ingredients:
Bars:
½ cups canned pumpkin
1 egg
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup stevia
¼ cup applesauce
1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
¾ cup oat flour or all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon baking soda
1½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
Frosting:
¼ cup browned butter
2-3 tablespoon milk
½ tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 inch glass baking pan.
2. Mix all the bar ingredients and pour into prepared baking pan
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. While the bars are baking, prepare the frosting by mixing all the frosting ingredients until well combined.
NOTE: To create browned butter, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it foams and starts to turn golden brown. When you notice small brown bits at the bottom and a nutty aroma, remove from heat. Let it cool before using.
5. After the bars have cooled, spread the frosting on top, and enjoy!
