These bars are thick & gooey, packed with chocolate chips and swirls of creamy peanut butter. They are easy to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.
Makes 24 cookie bars

Ingredients:
1 cup salted butter, softened
⅔ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup creamy peanut butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl beat butter and sugars until light and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and beat until well blended. Add in flour and baking soda.
4. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Press half of the dough into the base of the baking dish. Drop the peanut butter onto the dough using teaspoons or tablespoons. Do not spread the peanut butter.
6. Add the remaining cookie dough on top, ensuring the peanut butter is not completely covered. It's fine if it appears slightly uneven, as it will smooth out during baking.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 22-24 minutes or until the top is lightly golden brown. Remove from oven and cool completely in pan.
8. Cut into bars and enjoy!
