This is for all the chocolate and peanut butter enthusiasts! It's incredibly simple to prepare and guaranteed to fulfill your cravings. I appreciate how the chocolate topping remains soft and creamy even after it sets.
Makes 15 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup salted butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
¾ cup peanut butter
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the 3/4 cup peanut butter.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, and baking soda. Stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until firm. Melt chocolate chips and 1/2 cup peanut butter together in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring often until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cooled bars and let it set before slicing into squares.
